Roger Pell-Stevens
Chartered Architect : Director
DipArch ARB RIBA
Founding Director and Principle Designer, Roger has over 40 years experience in residential, commercial, leisure and medical architecture. He has led projects internationally in Germany, the Netherlands, Latvia, France and Italy. Roger now specialises in residential architecture for private clients, and in the research and development of low-carbon, access and age friendly design.
David Elliott
Associate | Architectural Designer
BEng(Hons) Architecture and Environmental Engineering
David joined Pell-Stevens Architects in 2017 and became an Associate in 2025. He works across the project lifecycle, from early feasibility and sketch design through planning and technical development to construction and completion on site.
David studied Architecture and Environmental Engineering at UWE Bristol, combining architectural design with environmental engineering and building services. He later undertook postgraduate architectural study at the Centre for Alternative Technology, further developing his interest in building performance, embodied carbon and the opportunities offered by natural and bio-based materials.
David particularly enjoys seeing projects develop from their earliest ideas into completed buildings and working collaboratively with clients, consultants and contractors to resolve the design and technical challenges that arise along the way. His approach combines design quality and technical understanding with a pragmatic interest in creating comfortable, durable and lower-impact buildings that respond to their setting and the individual needs of their clients.
Clayton Way
Part 3 Architectural Assistant
BA(Hons) MArch
Clayton graduated with a degree in Architecture and Design before spending almost 2 years working in Winchester on high-end luxury homes, barn conversions and residential schemes. He is currently studying for his Part 3 on the Level 7 Degree Apprenticeship course at the University of Portsmouth, which will ultimately lead him up to full qualification. Clayton thoroughly enjoys what he does and participates across all of the RIBA work stages, from conception through to project delivery, and has a passion for high-quality design.
Nerea Monsalve Cardenal
Practice Manager
Nerea joined Pell-Stevens Architects in 2015 to help with the administration of the practice. She started her career in the hospitality industry and has worked for international firms in the financial and boat manufacturing sectors. She speaks four languages and has a Masters in Business Administration.
Heather Rees
Administration, PR and Marketing Manager
Heather is our latest addition to the team, joining in 2026 as part of the administration, PR and marketing team. She brings a strong background in client-facing roles across a range of sectors, with experience in account management and supporting corporate businesses. Heather provides administrative support while contributing to public relation’s and practice marketing activities.
