CABIN TAPIO

We worked closely with our London-based clients to transform this dark, pokey, weatherboarded cottage into a light and airy country retreat. To add more light we cut into the walls and inserted two sets of Crittal-style French doors and added a large window seat in the dining area. Two small, cramped rooms were knocked into one to become the bedroom and en suite and the addition of a Crittal-style shower screen echoes the windows throughout the cabin. Finally ‘zoning’ the outside deck and garden created different areas for eating, cooking and relaxing, including a yoga spot outside the bedroom window.
