Hampshire Listed Barn Conversion

Pell-Stevens Architects have secured Planning Permission and Listed Building Consent from Winchester City Council for partial conversion of a 17th century Grade II Listed aisled barn into two residential units suitable for holiday lets.

The design inserts two residential units within the existing timber frame envelope.  The central bays of the barn remain open and glazed screens maintain views across the entire structure so that the volume and frame structure remain visible.

The external envelope will be replaced to make it thermally efficient and the existing sheet roof will be replaced with photovoltaic slates.
