Works are moving forward on West Sussex house
PROGRESS UPDATE - the roof structure is taking shape
Our new countryside home in West Sussex is progressing beautifully. With the first floor Porotherm walls complete, work is now fully underway on the timber roof structure — a key milestone that’s beginning to define the home’s distinctive form.
The impressive roof light opening to the entrance lobby has also been formed, promising to flood the interior with natural light. Now that the structure is taking shape, walking through the spaces gives a real sense of the thoughtful plan layout, the impressive scale, and the way each room connects to the site. These relationships with the surrounding countryside set the stage for a landscape design that will further root the home in its setting.
We continue to work closely with the main contractor and our clients to ensure every detail aligns with the design vision, planning requirements, and building regulations. Designed to complement its rural surroundings, this home reflects our commitment to contemporary design, longevity, and environmental performance.
We look forward to sharing more as the build continues to progress towards new milestones!
